This cathedral veil is at the medium fullness. Cathedral veils work best at full (108″) or medium(72″) fullness. Fullness is the width of the veil and effects the number of folds from the gathers, full is puffier and medium is more transparent (sheer 54″ is better for shorter veils as it looks too thin and skimpy on long veils). Notice this wedding veil is wide enough to spread out, yet it’s quite transparent near the top where it’s gathered. The bride and I created this designer veil with ivory bridal illusion at 120″ long featuring a pencil edge and Swarovski rhinestone crystals scattered throughout.
- This cathedral veil has 72″ width for medium fullness. There are folds from gathers yet it is quite transparent at the top and wide enough to spread out.
- Cathedral veils with crystals add sparkle. This veil has crystals scattered throughout, they can also be staggered just along the edge. Make your veil a Swarovski Veil.
