Wedding Veil Attachment:Our 3.5 Inch Clear Plastic Hidden Comb
Our standard comb to attach to a wedding veil is our 3.5″ clear plastic comb hidden under the veil. On our tiered veils, the ones that are gathered across the top, it is sewn to the veil so it is hidden from sight when worn. The veil flips up and over the edge of the comb keeping it out of view. On a mantilla veil it is sewn flat to the veil either hidden at the edge or sewn on with clear thread.
Detachable veil can be made with this comb as well. A piece of Velcro is sewn to the top of the comb and another to the top of the longest tier. It’s hidden from sight under the shorter tier. The long tier can be detached while the comb is still in the hair. Just flip the short tier(s) to the front out of the way, hold the comb and pull the Velcro. Be careful that the rough side of the Velcro does not come in contact with the veil once you remove that layer. The blusher (or the short tier) can be made detachable. It’s usually the longer layer brides want to remove, but there have been some cases where the shorter layer needs to be detachable. Contact us and we can let you know the options for the type of veil you want.
