Long English net veils are flowing because the fabric is a bit heavier than bridal illusion. English net veils are almost as transparent as illusion veils. This veil is 60 inches long in the traditional shape made of white English net.
Our English net is made of polyester making it more stable and durable than cotton English net. It wont be affected by humidity or rain and it can be washed. Notice that the holes have a honeycomb shape and the fibers are thicker than bridal illusion. This gives English net a similar look and flow to silk tulle, yet at a fraction of the cost (silk tulle is over $100 per yard).
This is a great close up of a pencil edge on English net. Since it is a netting fabric, English net veil can be made with a plain cut edge, as the raw edge will on unravel.
