It’s homecoming season! Many beaded dresses are here for alterations at Custom Stitches by Roxanne in Jamestown, New York. Often a dress needs taken in at the top. A beaded and/or sequin dress can be taken in. It takes time, but it can be done. When done well you wont be able to tell where beads were moved.
As you shop for a dress for the coming holiday, Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties keep in mind sequin and beaded dresses can be altered. However this is not a last minute quick alteration. If time is short (less than 2 weeks) check with your seamstress first or choose a dress without embellishment at the side seams.
