This customer asked us to alter her own wedding veil purchased from a bridal shop. She bought the veil because it was a perfect color match with her dress, but it wasn’t exactly what she wanted. The purchased veil was very long and only came in the one length, she wanted chapel length, just to the floor. The purchased veil was also very simple, just a pencil edge and no embellishments.
We were able to shorten her veil to chapel length which worked great with her dress. We also added Swarovski rhinestone crystals and faux pearls staggered along the edge to get the sparkle and embellishment she wanted from hip level down.
We have altered and remade vintage and heirloom veils for brides wanting to wear their mother’s or grandmother’s bridal veil. We have removed headpieces from veils, remade headpieces, shortened veils, removed a blusher or layer and added lace from a mother’s dress. Let us know what you want and we will see how to transform what you have. Just email [email protected].
This is now a chapel length veil of bridal illusion at medium fullness with a pencil edge, and clear Swarovski rhinestone crystals and ivory faux pearls staggered only from hip level down.
