Do you want a very simple wedding veil that will not hide your dress? Maybe you want to wear a veil but don’t want any of your dress hidden. Maybe you don’t want to wear a veil but family really wants you to. There is a solution!
Consider a short to medium length cut edge mantilla veil. This is simply bridal illusion cut in a circle that is not gathered at all. The veil will attach to the hair at the edge and just hang down very light and transparent blending in with your dress. You can see right through it. Bridal illusion works best for the simplest most transparent look.
A comb can be sewn to the edge. We use a clear mono filament thread so it’s hidden when worn. You can also attach it with a hair piece clip or bobby pins. We offer a 2″ straight pin so you can simply position the veil and weave the pin in and out through both hair and veil…and then just slide the pin out when the ceremony is over. We’ve also had brides hold it in place with a headband or tiara.
