Sheer fullness works well for short veils. Fullness is the amount of folds that appear from the gathering of the veil at the comb. The fuller the veil the puffier it gets and the less transparent it gets. A wedding veil at sheer fullness is 54 inches wide will be quite transparent and much thinner and flatter than a short veil at medium fullness of 72 inches or full at 108 inches.
A sheer short veil will still have some body at sheer fullness. The longer veils tend to look too thin and even cheep at the sheer fulness, so we recommend either medium or full width for the waltz, chapel and cathedral lengths (only full width for royal length).
